Our history
Bestever Supply Chain was born from the combination of many years of field‑project experience, strategic vision and deep scientific knowledge. Founded in 2022 as an innovative start‑up and recognized in 2023 as a spin‑off of the IUAV University of Venice, we position ourselves as the ideal partner to address the most complex challenges of modern supply chains.
Our know‑how spans multiple domains and meets the key needs of a wide range of stakeholders—from freight forwarders, logistics operators and industrial companies to public entities.
Over more than 20 years spent optimizing key areas in the supply chain, we have completed roughly 80 projects worldwide.

PIER LUIGI CAVICCHI
Co-founder
Graduated with honors in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna; furthered my education with an Executive Certificate at MIT Sloan School of Management in cutting‑edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Blockchain.
With more than 30 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain and global operations, I have held strategic roles in major organizations including the De’Longhi and COOP groups.
Throughout my career I have achieved significant results in organizational optimization, cost reduction, e‑commerce development and the management of complex international manufacturing operations.
I have served on the IUAV “Global Supply Chain Management & Logistics” Master program as lecturer and Board member, and I am a visiting professor at the University of Verona.
Marco Mazzarino
Co-founder
Graduated with honors in Economics and Business from the University of Trieste; I specialized at international institutions including the University of Leeds, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the World Maritime University.
I have taught Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at IUAV for more than 20 years and directed the “Global Supply Chain Management & Logistics” Professional Master program.
Over my career I have led more than 70 innovation projects in supply chain and transport, working mainly in international contexts.
I also serve as Head of the Sustainable Logistics Unit (SLU) at the Venice International University.
My research and scholarly output includes more than 90 published contributions, including three books.

Claudio Aldrigo
Co-founder
I earned an Executive MBA from the MIB School of Management in Trieste. I am a supply chain and logistics expert and have coordinated numerous reorganization and innovation projects in structured companies operating in European and Asian markets.
With a solid background in the transport sector, I bring substantial experience in managerial and international roles.
I have served as lecturer and Board member in the IUAV “Global Supply Chain Management & Logistics” Master program, and as lecturer at the University of Insubria.
My main focus is innovation in logistics processes and the strategic transformation of operations.
